You are responsible for keeping your account and contact information up to date. You may be held liable for all losses incurred by us or any other user of our Services due to activities that occur under your account, including any misuse by you or others. You agree to promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your user name, password, or account.
Any attempted transfer or assignment in violation hereof shall be null and void. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder will be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. Smart Features require you to have a wireless Internet connection and data connectivity for your Smart Appliance and mobile device. You are responsible for obtaining, maintaining and paying for all network devices (modems, routers, etc.) and data plans.
Online Shopping & Delivery Arrangement
The delivery agent won’t attempt to connect or disconnect to saddle or needle type valves, only permanent in-line water valves. These Terms are for Services provided or distributed in the United States and Canada. For products or services that are provided or distributed in other countries, different terms may apply.
The delivery agent won’t connect to copper water lines or reuse any existing water lines. We welcome you to share your User Content and information about our products, services, and Services through social media. You grant us the right to reproduce and publish your social media postings related to the Services and to use the username or social media handle that you used when sharing the content. You are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of the social media platforms you use.
In-home delivery
You agree that Whirlpool may automatically Update the Smart Features at any time and that you will provide Whirlpool with access to do so. In some cases we may Update Smart Features remotely without notifying you, and you consent to these automatic Updates. You acknowledge that Updates may require your Smart Appliance to be reset, restarted, or be temporarily unavailable for use. If you do not wish to receive Updates, delete your appliance from your App. All Smart Features are subject to change, and may be modified or removed at any time through an Update.
Delivery will be delayed if a typhoon signal No.8 is raised or a black rainstorm warning is in effect. If customers fail to take delivery within 6 months after the date of purchase, no further arrangements can be made. Whirlpool HK reserves the right to handle the purchased product with its own absolute discretion without further notice. The delivery agent won’t reconnect or reuse any existing water or drain lines.
Delivery above second floor
The delivery agent won’t drill any holes through fixed walls or floors. The delivery agent will only connect to an approved operational gas shutoff valve that is within 4' of the range. The delivery agent will only turn the water off at the specific valve where washer water lines are attached. Be sure to measure your home so your appliance fits through each hall and doorway and fits in your space.
Access the Smart Features in order to build a similar or competitive service or product. Upload or distribute any malicious computer code or other computer file or program that is or is potentially harmful or invasive or intended to damage or hijack the operation of, or to monitor the use of, any hardware, software or equipment. We try to keep the Services up and running, but our Services may experience outages for a variety of reasons. You agree that Whirlpool is not responsible for any damage or loss caused by failures or delays of the Services. To learn how we collect, use, and disclose your information, please review our Privacy Notice, available on our websites and in our Apps. By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure and sharing of data as described in the Privacy Notice.
Making Purchases
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms, and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, statutes, rules, and regulations (“Laws”). You may not use the Services or your Smart Appliance in any manner that could harm any person, property, Whirlpool, its service providers or its brands. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, and unless we provide express written consent to use the Services for other purposes, we grant you permission to use the Services solely for your personal, family, and household use. Whirlpool retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all content and other material contained in or made available through the Services.
Make sure the electrical outlet is securely attached to the wall or floor and meets the National Electrical Code requirements for dryers. Appliance accessories will only be installed if purchased with a companion appliance. If your order contains multiple products, products may be held until arrival of all products in a single delivery. Depending on your delivery area, you may be able to select preferred delivery dates or time windows via the checkout experience or through an online scheduling portal. Delivery date requests are only requests, not confirmed delivery windows. We’ll contact you directly to finalize your delivery date and time.
You acknowledge that if you fail to provide substantially all of the information listed above, your notification may not be valid. Upon receipt of your written notice, we will investigate the allegation and remove the complained-of material at our sole discretion. The availability of the Services may depend on the third-party platforms from which you download the App, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play (each an “App Store”). You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and Whirlpool, and not with the operator of an App Store. The App Store provider is not responsible for maintenance or other support for the App. To the extent that any App Store terms and conditions are less restrictive than or otherwise conflict with the terms of this Agreement, this Agreement shall govern.
Additional terms may apply depending on which of our products or services you use, or for promotions, sweepstakes, contests, giveaways, or similar programs (“Additional Terms”). If Additional Terms are inconsistent with these Terms, the Additional Terms control. You agree to use only the Services directed to your country — for example, US users should use our US websites (having a .com domain) and US apps , while Canada users should use our Canadian websites (having a .ca domain) and Canadian apps . The delivery agent won’t attempt to connect or disconnect a water line in a location where they can’t fully stand up or that doesn’t have enough light. The delivery agent won’t attempt to connect a valve that is further than 6' away from the refrigerator.
The site is used to track appliance delivery, instillation, onsite repair and factory replacement. The existing Home Delivery Network site lacked transparency to customers and hid meaningful information. The design challenge was to surface information that is meaningful and make needed information easy to digest in a glance. The interface needed to be easier to use and reduce pain-points that caused frustration for customers that may already be frustrated. The design needed to empower customers so they could not only know what was happening, but could correct some issues themselves.
Designs started with paper thumbnails and very low fidelity wireframes. These basic concept designs were then translated to high fidelity wireframes in Illustrator as well as a few high fidelity mock ups of the design. Six other wireframe designs where created over the span of the project to demonstrate additional pages, features and interactions such as modal dialogs.

If removing the existing microwave/hood combination may cause damage to wall treatments, cabinets or other fixtures, the delivery agent will not remove it. This includes microwave/hood combinations that are caulked to tile or backsplashes. The delivery agent will have power cord, drain hose and water supply line measuring 6' in length. Depending on your location and local requirements, we may not be able to offer installation for hardwired products. Your cart at checkout will indicate if installation is only available for plug connections.

Customers can apply this installment plan on a single transaction between HK$15 to HK$10,000, and the transaction must be settled by Atome mobile app. The option of interest-free instalment plan is only applicable to purchase of brand new Whirlpool appliances , WPro product care series or accessories on our official website. Customers can apply this instalment plan on a single transaction of HK$1,500 or above, and the transaction must be settled by a designated personal credit card issued by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited .
